Good copy and great customer service! There was some confusion with my order and it was resolved promptly!
The small indentation just below the REDIAL button is the microphone. The two metal ridges at the bottom of the handset are the charge contacts.
Along the sides of the handset are two indentations that secure the belt clip. The belt clip snaps into place with the small ridges on the curved arms locking into each of the indentations on the side of the handset.
With the handset still facing you, you will find the headset jack on the left side of the handset, parallel to the TALK button. It has a rubber cover that can be opened by pulling down, and is not removable.
Finally on the reverse side of the handset, to the top right is the ringer indicator. The textured area in the center of the handset, is the handset speakerphone�s speaker. Just below the speaker is the battery compartment with a notch. Its upper edge is parallel to the speakerphone button and the MENU button.
BASE UNIT
With the base unit facing you, you will find antenna on the right side of the base unit. The antennas can be easily rotated so that they always point upward, whether the unit is placed on a desk or is wall-mounted. The handset cradle is located on the left side of the face of the base unit. The two metal ridges on the bottom in the cradle are the charge contacts.
The top right of the base unit is a large rectangular textured area. This is the base unit speaker.
Just below the speakerphone is a smooth raised circular area. At the center in the area, is the IN USE indicator. Below the IN USE indicator is the VOICE MAIL button with an indicator in the center.
Below this area is the keypad laid out in the conventional telephone arrangement with a nib on the 5 button. To the right of the telephone keypad are four oval buttons in a vertical column: the top one is the REDIAL button. Below is the FLASH button, which also works as the CALL WAIT button. The third one is the MUTE button. The fourth is the HOLD button.
To the lower right of the base unit, is the half-circle SP-PHONE button, which is slightly angled, with an indicator on the upper left. To the left of the SP-PHONE button, are three oval buttons in a horizontal line. The left one is the
