Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

Gebrauch der Zeitschaltuhr-Funktionen

Aufnahmezeitschaltuhr
Mit Hilfe dieser Zeitschaltuhr-Funktion kann eine Rundfunksendung oder der Ton von einem Zusatzgerät zum voreingestellten Zeitpunkt automatisch aufgezeichnet werden. Im folgenden Beispiel wird gezeigt, wie die Zeitschaltuhr für Aufnahme auf einer MD zwischen 18:30 Uhr und 20:00 Uhr einzustellen ist. Vorbereitungen: ³Drücken Sie [ê/|], um die Stromzufuhr einzuschalten, und stellen Sie die Uhr ein (� Seite 20). ³Wählen Sie die für die Zeitschaltuhr-Aufnahme gewünschte Programmquelle. Für Aufzeichnung einer Rundfunksendung Drücken Sie [TUNER/BAND] und stimmen Sie den gewünschten Sender ab. Für Aufnahme von einem Zusatzgerät Drücken Sie [AUX, ANALOG/DIGITAL] zur Wahl von �ANALOGIN� oder �DIGITAL-IN� (� Seite 80). ³Legen Sie eine MD oder Cassette ein und treffen Sie die jeweiligen Vorbereitungen (� Seite 38 bzw. 40). ³Bei Aufzeichnung auf eine MD wählen Sie den gewünschten MDAufnahmemodus (� Seite 38). Die verfügbaren MD-Aufnahmemodi richten sich nach der Programmquelle.

Bei einer fehlerhaften Einstellung der Zeitschaltuhr Führen Sie das obige Verfahren erneut ab Schritt [1] aus.

Hinweis Auch bei Wahl des MD-Aufnahmemodus TURN BACK oder TURN/ TIME startet die Zeitschaltuhr zur voreingestellten Einschaltzeit.
