Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Follow steps 1â5.
In step 2: Connect the clip headphones/ stereo earphones and wired remote control to the headphone jack [Ã] . (Plug in firmly.) In step 5: The volume range is 0-25. Press and hold to change the volume successively. The volume changes when pressed while the level is displayed. If any other display is shown, it changes to show the current level. (The volume returns to 10 when you disconnect the power source.) â¥Play stops automatically when all the tracks have been played. â¥If the unit has been connected to the car audio system, set this unitâs volume to 10, then adjust the volume level on the system.

Play starts from the beginning of the current track the next time you press [1/;]. Press during stop mode. Total playing time No indicator is shown.

Backward Forward Press during play. (Press [:] twice to skip to the beginning of the previous tracks.) â¥During program play (page 4), these buttons are used to skip forward or backward through the programmed sequence of tracks. â¥You cannot skip to tracks that have been played in random or random repeat play (page 4). â¥During program play, 1-track repeat play, random play and random repeat play (page 4), search operation is limited to the current track only.

Resume function notes
â¥Opening the lid while in the stop mode or replacing the disc while in the off mode cancels the function. (It may remain active if you replace a disc in the off mode.) â¥Play may resume from the beginning of the next track if you stopped play near the end of a track. â¥The resume function works automatically and cannot be turned off.

This indication appears for about 30 seconds if [1/;] is pressed when no disc is loaded in the unit or if the disc is not properly secured.
This indication appears for about 10 minutes when the cover is opened. (However, the indication does not appear when the unit is powered off.)

Press [â«] to stop play and disc rotation. Slide [OPEN 1] to open the lid. Once the disc has stopped, lift the disc out with your finger.
Do not stop the disc by hand or try to remove it before it stops rotating. This can damage CDs. Total number of tracks
Note! Never insert foreign objects into the unit.
If you leave the unit in stop mode for about 10 minites (30 seconds if disc is not loaded), it turns off to save the batteries.
Note on CD-R and CD-RW
This unit can play CD-DA format audio CD-R and CD-RW that have been finalizedÂ§ upon completion of recording. It may not be able to play some CD-R or CD-RW due to the condition of the recording.
Finalizing is a process that enables CD-R/CD-RW players to play audio CD-R and CD-RW.
